So what way do you like to be implemented in SkyEye so that can meet
your requirement  more pricisely?
For (1), we can set an option in skyeye.conf to indicate the time
limit of SkyEye. Do you think that is Ok for your purpose? Or better
idea?
For (2), I have no good idea about it. Probably when some specail
instruction is accessed or special IO address is accessed ,  SkyEye
should exit automatically. So what is your idea about that?

In fact , we had used expect script to do the likely thing as your
description. In our test scripts written by expect, we can set a time
limit that make SkyEye be killed  if SkyEye is not reponded in time
limit.
