Hello Mr Kang,
                       Thanks for your prompt response.
I have one more issue to which i want to draw your attention to.
I will explain my scenario.
I am running Linux Fedora 6 in VMware virtual machine which is running on
top of windows XP.
I have compiled and installed the crosscompiler toolchain in /opt/crosstool
directory from the script given by
http://kegel.com/crosstool/crosstool-0.43.tar.gz
The crosstool generated was given the name as arm-unknown-linux-gnu

Then i downloaded the GDB version of the skyeye from the sourceforge site
skyeye-0.9.8

I tried to configure it by running the command
./configure --target=arm-unknown-linux-gnu --prefix=/opt/crosstool/gcc-
3.4.5-glibc-2.3.6/arm-unknown-linux-gnu

The configuring was fine. But when i run the make command i got the
following error
I run make distclean and also removed the ./config.cache. But the same
target problem appeared. Is there any wrong doing soemwhere.

configure: loading cache ./config.cache
configure: error: `target_alias' has changed since the previous run:
configure: former value: i686-pc-linux-gnu
configure: current value: arm-unknown-linux-gnu
configure: error: changes in the environment can compromise the build
configure: error: run `make distclean' and/or `rm ./config.cache' and start
over
make[1]: *** [configure-gdb] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/opt/skyeye/skyeye-0.9.8'
make: *** [all] Error 2

Arnab
